Graphic Designer / Social Media Coordinator

We’re Experia Creative, a growing creative agency in San Diego. We’re looking for an entry-level Graphic Designer/Social Media Coordinator to join our team. If you’re eager to learn and grow, and have passion for design, marketing, and creating content – we want to talk with you!

We specialize in helping other small businesses with branding, logo design, web design, graphic design, social media, digital marketing campaigns, and more. Our clients are in a wide variety of industries, which helps keep things fun and different for us from day to day. We believe in always delivering quality content, building positive and lasting client relationships, offering attentive and personalized customer service, and investing in the long term. 

We’re a small team, but we do a lot. We need more help to continue growing – this is where you come in!

As a member of our team you can expect to be:

  • Designing and creating content for various digital and print mediums, including social media, websites, marketing collateral, presentations, packaging, email marketing campaigns, and whatever else our clients may need
  • Coordinating clients’ social media presence, including creating content, scheduling posts, managing campaigns, engaging with users, and analyzing metrics
  • Working on branding projects, including logo design, color, and typography
  • Assisting with updating WordPress websites with new content and graphics
  • Collaborating with clients and the team to understand project goals and objectives, and developing creative concepts
  • Ensuring all designs and social media content align with each clients’ unique brand guidelines and messaging
  • Staying up-to-date with design and social media trends and incorporating them into your work

Here’s what we are looking for in an ideal candidate:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design and digital media projects
  • Passion for social media
  • Experience with branding and identity design
  • Ability to provide creative feedback to other team members
  • Ability to accept and integrate feedback from clients and team members
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfort working both independently and within a small team
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and clients simultaneously

This is a full-time position (although we would also consider a part-time to full time situation, based on your current availability.)

Starting Salary: $45,300 / year
